Topic: Homemade dog packs...

Howdy all!  I've been getting pretty crafty lately which has been helping me to save quite a bit of $$ while, at the same time, keeping me busy.  I recently made pannier bags for my bicycle out of old laptop bags we happened to have laying around the school.  Saved about $80 and wasn't too difficult!

That being said, I've been wanting to pick up a dog pack for Hussi and this got me thinking about making my own pack for her, especially since they tend to run about $65 for the one from REI I've been looking at.

This got me thinking that I might be able to make my own pack for her so I did a bit of Googlin' and found the following links:

I'm leaning towards the first one.  Now I just need to find someone who has a sewing machine I could borrow.

Y'all have a great one!

That is a great idea!  I checked out the links and saw the pictures and it wouldn't be very difficult to make at all.  And the nice thing is you can customize it to not only your dog but to what you want to be able to carry.  I can see Hussi in pink camo.
